Comprehensive Property Insurance

Summary

The Municipality of Berg en Dal is procuring comprehensive property insurance for its buildings and contents. The insured amount is EUR 207,925,900 for buildings and EUR 36,374,700 for contents, totalling EUR 244,300,600. The sublimit for flood damage from non-primary water defences is EUR 2,500,000 per event and insurance year, with a deductible of EUR 5,000 per event. The limit for extra expenses and the limit for reinstatement costs are each EUR 5,000,000; the maximum indemnity period for extra expenses is 104 consecutive weeks. The insurance starts on 1 January 2027, with an initial term ending on 1 January 2030 and a mutual option to extend once for 36 months. The estimated contract value is EUR 700,000, equivalent to six estimated annual premiums excluding insurance tax. Bids are evaluated on the lowest-price basis; co-insurance is possible, with shares allocated until 100% cover is achieved. Tenderers must submit a signed pricing schedule and meet the qualification, authorisation and insurer financial-capacity requirements. Bids must be submitted electronically in Dutch by 10 November 2026 at 17:00.
