Fire insurance for the Municipality of Zundert

Summary

The Municipality of Zundert is procuring fire insurance for movable and immovable property owned by the municipality or for which it is responsible, including buildings and inventory. The insured amounts are €91,550,500 for buildings and €9,709,300 for inventory, totalling €101,259,800. The deductible is €2,500 per event. The sublimit for flooding from non-primary flood defences is €1,000,000 per event and per year. The limit for reconstruction costs and special additional costs is €2,500,000 each per event, and the limit for business interruption is €1,250,000 per event. The insurance starts on 31 December 2026 and initially runs until 31 December 2029, then continues for successive 12-month periods unless either party gives notice at least 4 months before expiry. The sole award criterion is the lowest price, and insurer shares are allocated in price order until 100% cover is reached. The gross quoted rate must include the 5% Risk Engineering fee. Bidders must submit a completed European Single Procurement Document and a signed price schedule; bids submitted through a broker or authorised agent must also include the relevant representation declaration. The insurer must hold an insurance authorisation and, where an authorised agent is used, that agent must hold an authorisation to act in that capacity. Bids must be submitted electronically in Dutch by 16 November 2026 at 12:00. The procurement document may be used as the initial declaration, but the required supporting evidence must be provided within 7 calendar days of a request if the bidder is selected for intended award.
