Werkom fleet insurance

Summary

Werkom is procuring a single insurance contract for its fleet of 69 vehicles: 13 passenger cars, 44 vans, 7 minibuses, and 5 mopeds or scooters. The insurance must cover motor third-party liability, comprehensive damage, and— for specified vehicles—liability arising when a vehicle is used as work equipment. Underground damage is excluded from the work-risk cover. Coverage is required in countries covered by the Green Card system. The contract starts on 31 December 2026 and ends on 1 January 2029, with two possible mutual extensions of 12 months each, subject to at least three months’ notice. The deductible for liability and comprehensive claims is €500 per incident for passenger cars, vans, and minibuses. For mopeds and scooters, the liability deductible is €0 and the comprehensive deductible is €100. The work-risk deductible is €500. There is no deductible for glass repair; glass replacement carries a €75 deductible per pane when performed by an affiliated glass repairer. The contract also requires extended replacement-vehicle cover on Werkom’s own premises and inside its buildings, a means of digitally adding and removing vehicles, and compliance with the other technical requirements. Bids must be submitted in Dutch electronically through TenderNed by 16 November 2026 at 12:00. Submit a completed European Single Procurement Document, a signed price schedule, and a completed vehicle schedule; bids through an intermediary or authorised agent must also include the relevant representation declaration. The award criterion is lowest price. The price schedule must state the annual premium excluding insurance tax, and the bid must allow for a 10% brokerage fee; the total premium must match the amount in the vehicle schedule. The insurer must hold the required insurance-business licence, and any intermediary or authorised agent must hold the licence required for its role.
