Design team for the new Edam-Volendam town hall

Summary

The restricted European tender concerns the design team for the new Edam-Volendam town hall at Julianaweg in Volendam, with an approximate gross floor area of 4,800 m². The assignment also includes the functional development and façade design of the adjacent car park with a commercial plinth. There are three lots: Lot 1 architecture, interior design and design integration; Lot 2 structural engineering; and Lot 3 building services, building physics, sustainability and fire safety. The town hall design covers the concept/preliminary design, final design, technical design/specifications, support during contractor procurement, construction-ready design verification and aesthetic or technical supervision during construction. Applications must be submitted electronically by 16 October 2026 at 12:00. Up to five candidates per lot will be selected for the award phase, where the contract will be awarded on the basis of the best price-quality ratio. The procedure and tender documents are in Dutch.
