Green maintenance and advertising exploitation at roundabouts

Summary

The procurement covers green maintenance at 23 roundabouts in the municipality of Zaanstad, with a related right to place and exploit advertising on the roundabouts. The green maintenance is the main part of the contract and covers maintaining plantings, replacing lost plants, removing weeds and waste, pruning, fertilising, hedge trimming, limited tree maintenance, replanting and traffic measures. The total area at publication is 5,085.9 m², although the number and scope of roundabouts may change. The contractor must also install, maintain, clean, repair and ultimately remove advertising boards. The contract is initially for four years from the expected start date of 1 January 2027, with three possible two-year extensions. Price is the only award criterion, and both the green maintenance and advertising components must be priced. The resulting balance must be EUR 0 or negative; a positive balance is not permitted.
