Supply of wood pellets to Ziemeru Primary School

Summary

The tender is for the supply of up to 50 tonnes of 8 mm wood pellets to Ziemeru Primary School in the Alūksne area of Latvia. The pellets must meet ENplus A1 class requirements, be dry and free from chemical additives and foreign matter, and be packed in moisture-resistant 15 kg bags suitable for long-term storage. They must have a diameter of 8 mm and a length of 15–40 mm; bulk density of 650–750 kg/m³; calorific value of 4,100–4,300 kcal/kg, at least 17,100 kJ/kg and at least 4.8 MWh/t; ash content of 0.25–0.5%; and relative moisture of no more than 10%. A test report showing the pellets’ quality indicators must accompany each delivery. Each order must be delivered within 10 working days, in batches of no more than 16 tonnes, including unloading in the school yard; all deliveries must be completed by 30 April 2027. Bidders must submit the required qualification, technical and financial documents and hold a valid ENplus certificate or equivalent, with registration in the relevant public register. Offers must be submitted electronically in Latvian, and only one offer variant is permitted. Price is the sole award criterion, and the lowest price excluding VAT wins. The quoted price must include delivery, transport, unloading and all other costs required to perform the contract.
