Planting flower pyramids, containers and boxes in Ventspils for the 2027 and 2028 seasons

Summary

The procurement covers the cultivation, planting or filling of flower containers, boxes and flower pyramids, and their delivery in Ventspils for the 2027 and 2028 seasons. It is divided into two lots: flower containers and boxes, and flower pyramids. Bidders may submit an offer for either or both lots. The work includes growing the specified plants under cover, preparing and disinfecting the containers, using fertile soil substrate enriched with slow-release fertiliser, planting, plant care and trimming, plant protection, and delivery to Ventspils. Plants must be healthy and flowering or at the opening-bud stage when delivered. Container and box deliveries are scheduled from 17 May to 28 June 2027 and from 15 May to 29 June 2028. Pyramid deliveries cover the spring, summer and autumn seasons: 5–16 April, 17 May–4 June and 13–24 September 2027; and 3–14 April, 15 May–2 June and 11–22 September 2028. The overall completion deadline is 29 June 2028 for containers and boxes, and 29 September 2028 for pyramids. If funds are insufficient, the contracting authority may reduce the ordered quantities by up to 20%. Bidders must provide evidence of relevant experience and turnover, a quality plan describing work organisation, equipment, quality control and safety, and a financial offer. Price is the sole award criterion. Offers must be submitted electronically, and goods and services originating in Russia or Belarus must not be used.
