Tender detail

Restoration works for degraded ecosystems

Summary

The tender concerns restoration works for degraded ecosystems in Gauja National Park in the Valmiera area and the Burtnieki Lake Meadows nature reserve. The contract is divided into four lots: aquatic plant mowing, improvement of shoreline vegetation structure, removal of ground cover, and milling of stumps, shoots and tussocks. Bidders may submit a bid for one or more lots, but each selected lot must be offered in its entirety and only one bid variant may be submitted. The works must be carried out with the bidder’s own employees, equipment and tools, in accordance with the technical specification, nature conservation and environmental requirements, and the expert’s instructions. Aquatic plant mowing is generally to take place from 1 July to 31 August; tree and shrub cutting is not permitted from 15 March to 31 July. The performance period is 12 months from contract entry into force for Lots 1, 3 and 4, and 13 months for Lot 2. The submission deadline is 21 September 2026 at 00:00. Price is the only award criterion, and the compliant bid with the lowest price will be selected for each lot. Bids must be submitted electronically in Latvian.
