Food supplies for early-years catering

Summary

The tender covers the supply of food ingredients and grocery products to the City of Corbeil-Essonnes’ early-childhood facilities, where meals and snacks are prepared for infants and children up to four years old. The supplier must deliver raw ingredients and groceries on working days to two nurseries and arrange refrigerated transport of prepared meals between two other facilities: an estimated 25 meals and 20 meals, to be delivered before 9:45 a.m. The contract also provides for prepared meals to be supplied in exceptional circumstances. This single-supplier framework agreement starts on 4 January 2027, has an initial term of 18 months and may be renewed twice for 12 months each, for a maximum total duration of 42 months. Bids must include unit prices and a technical and environmental proposal. The stated assessment areas are product quality and traceability (20 points), menu variety and balance (20), responsiveness to service disruptions (10), and environmental performance (10). Requirements include at least 50% sustainable and quality products, including at least 20% organic products, and at least 20% of food supplies from short supply chains. During contract performance, the contractor must arrange at least one work-experience placement of at least 35 hours or one week for an eligible participant during each annual contract period.
