Supply and installation of safety barriers on the Vendée departmental road network

Summary

The contract covers the supply and transport, installation and removal of metal, metal-and-wood composite, and concrete safety barriers on the Vendée departmental road network, excluding Île d’Yeu. It is a single-supplier framework agreement under which works are ordered as needed, with no minimum quantity and an annual maximum of EUR 1,250,000 excluding VAT. Estimated quantities are 14,800 m of single-sided barriers, 650 m of double-sided barriers and 16,400 m of lateral composite barriers. The contract runs for 12 months and may be renewed three times for one year each. During performance, the contractor must provide an employment-integration initiative to help people facing social or professional difficulties access or return to work. Bids will be evaluated on price (60%), technical merit (15%), organisation of the work (15%) and environmental performance (10%). Bids must be submitted electronically by 3 November 2026 at 17:00. Bidders must demonstrate the required turnover, comparable past work, staffing and management capacity, technical equipment, and relevant educational and professional qualifications; thresholds and detailed evidence requirements should be checked in the tender documents.
