Conservation works at the Monastery of the Poor Clares
Summary
The City of Roubaix is procuring conservation works at the heritage buildings of the Monastery of the Poor Clares to halt major deterioration, particularly by protecting the building envelope and roof. The works are divided into seven separate lots: scaffolding, protection, demolition and stone masonry; timber structures; roofing and asbestos removal; carpentry and painting; stained glass and metalwork; electrical and plumbing works; and external works and utilities. A separate contract will be awarded for each lot, and tenders may be submitted for up to all seven lots. The expected works period is 24 months, with optional stages described in the tender documents. Tenderers must attend a mandatory site visit before submitting a tender, provide a declaration confirming that they are not prohibited from participating, and submit their tender electronically by 12 October 2026 at 08:00.
