Treatment of additional residual household waste

Summary

The procurement is for a 24-month framework agreement to treat residual household waste from the Guignen transfer station. The waste cannot be handled at the energy recovery facilities operated by S3T’ec or its partners while a new facility is awaited, expected to enter service in the first half of 2029. The estimated volume is 2,000 tonnes under normal operating conditions and up to 5,000 tonnes in a degraded operating situation. Transportation is excluded from the contract and will be provided by other contractors; the contractor must coordinate treatment with the transport providers and other parties involved.
