Definition of recharge areas for sensitive water catchments and corresponding protection zones

Summary

The contract concerns a 24-month study to define the recharge areas of sensitive water catchments and the corresponding protection zones in the Rupt de Mad sector, Lake Madine and the Gorze springs in Moselle. The contractor must assess agricultural pressures and the vulnerability of water resources, evaluate measures implemented since 2019, develop a monitoring tool for BNI areas and water-protection-friendly farming practices, prepare area-specific action programmes, and present and validate the results to dedicated steering committees. Tenders must be submitted by 30 October 2026 at 18:00. Variants are not permitted and the contract is not divided into lots.
