Specialised cleaning, pollution removal and decontamination services at the Eiffel Tower

Summary

The tender concerns specialised cleaning, pollution removal and decontamination services at the Eiffel Tower and related sites in Paris. It is a framework agreement with two contractors, no minimum volume and a maximum value of EUR 3,000,000 excluding VAT for the entire term of up to 48 months, including extensions. Services will be ordered as required through purchase orders. The bidder must be able to work at a continuously operating, publicly accessible heritage site, including lead-contaminated areas. The services include cleaning, pollution removal, decontamination, protective measures, waste collection and treatment, and final reporting. In lead areas, the result must reduce the lead concentration to below 700 µg/m²; in non-lead areas, the target must be 70%, 80% or 90% depending on the type of area. Tenders will be assessed on price at 50%, technical value at 40% and environmental performance at 10%. Price covers the initial quantitative price comparison at 30% and the total price of three simulations at 20%. Technical value covers the team, experience, organisation, deadlines, working methods in lead areas and consideration of site constraints. Tenders must be submitted electronically by 9 October 2026 at 12:00 Paris time. A mandatory site visit is scheduled, where possible, for 17 or 24 September 2026 at 14:30, and the signed site-visit certificate must be included with the tender.
