Design-and-build contract for renovation of the Courchevel ski jumping site
Summary
The tender concerns a design-and-build contract for renovating the Courchevel ski jumping site for the 2030 Winter Olympic Games. The contractor will be responsible for design, permits and approvals, technical studies, construction, commissioning and the 12-month defects liability period. The works include geotechnical stabilization, drainage, renovation of the K90 and K120 ski jumps and their sports equipment, replacement of the existing funicular with an inclined lift, renovation of access and judges’ towers, stands, buildings, technical rooms, lighting, utility networks, snow and watering systems, and operational and control equipment. The contract includes a firm scope and optional scopes, with an estimated total value of EUR 29,015,820 excluding VAT. Applications must be submitted electronically by 5 October 2026 at 12:00. Up to three candidates will be admitted to the competitive dialogue, and an obligatory site visit will be arranged for admitted candidates. The indicative contract duration is 38 months, with works mainly planned from January 2028 to August 2029. The contract includes social-integration obligations and requires at least 20% of the estimated contract value to be awarded directly or indirectly to small and medium-sized enterprises, social-economy organizations or artisans. A EUR 150,000 premium is planned for each candidate submitting a final tender in accordance with the tender documents.
