Renovation of air-conditioning systems at the Sorbonne property

Summary

The Chancellery of the Universities of Paris is procuring renovation works for the air-conditioning systems at the Sorbonne property, 47 rue des Écoles, Paris. The unallotted contract has a firm tranche to replace existing equipment and install two independent cooling-only variable refrigerant flow systems: one serving 9 indoor units in the Saint-Jacques courtyard area and one serving 16 indoor units on the roof. Two optional tranches cover temporary air-conditioning for sensitive rooms during changeovers and replacement of the system serving room D081, with an additional connection to room PCS at 7 rue de la Sorbonne. The works are scheduled to take five months and are to be carried out in an occupied, densely built-up site.
