Renovation of the Trappes meteorological radar tower: lead removal, structural repairs and building-services adaptations

Summary

Météo-France is procuring a single, non-lotted package of exterior renovation works for its meteorological radar tower in Trappes. The works include removing lead-containing paint from the steel structure, repairing, reinforcing or replacing damaged steel sections, applying corrosion protection and repainting, renovating and repainting masonry, and adapting façade-mounted electrical and HVAC equipment. The radar must remain operational during the works; the contract is estimated at EUR 475,000 and has a seven-month duration, including two months for preparation and five months for the works.
