Public service concession for operating the community ice rink

Summary

The Melun Val de Seine urban community is granting a five-year public service concession, starting on 1 June 2027, to operate its community ice rink in Dammarie-lès-Lys. The concession covers public, school and sports-club access; activities and events; ice and facility management, maintenance and regulatory checks; and the rink’s administrative, financial and commercial management, including the bar/snack service. The facility has two ice areas, including a 56 × 26 m rink and an approximately 300 m² recreational loop, with seating for just over 400. In 2024/2025 it recorded 69,449 public visits and over 106,000 visits including schools and the two clubs; the estimated concession value is €5.3 million.
