Treatment of green waste in the SMICTOM LGB area

Summary

SMICTOM LGB is procuring composting services for green waste collected from its seven recycling centres, with an estimated volume of 2,420 tonnes per year. The procurement is not divided into lots and is planned for one year from 1 January 2027, with one possible one-year renewal. SMICTOM LGB generally handles transport and loading to the treatment area; if the contractor proposes an authorised transit area, the contractor must load and transfer the waste from there to the treatment facility.
