On-demand feeder and passenger transport service to Kajaani Airport

Summary

Kajaanin Ammattikorkeakoulu Oy is procuring a demand-responsive passenger feeder service connecting Kajaani Airport with Kajaani and destinations across the Kainuu region. The approximately 16-week pilot, scheduled to run from 10 December 2026 to 31 March 2027, covers routes via Puolanka–Paljakka–Paltamo, Suomussalmi–Hyrynsalmi/Ukkohalla–Ristijärvi, and Kuhmo–Sotkamo–Vuokatti, as well as Kajaani city centre. Services will operate on route sections for which tickets have been sold and passengers are travelling; the buyer may extend the arrangement subject to available funding and flight schedules.
