Kainuu Wellbeing Services County is procuring specialist orthopaedic medical services, including outpatient consultations, weekday and weekend on-call services, operating theatre work and, when needed, work on the surgical ward. Outpatient clinic days are expected to involve about 15 patients per day; weekend on-call runs from Friday at 15:00 to Monday at 08:00, with active work estimated at 30–50%. The contract runs from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2028, with an option to extend for one year.
