Summary

The Central Finland Wellbeing Services County is preparing separate procurements for transporting deceased persons and providing funeral services, mainly for deceased persons whose funeral costs are covered by social assistance. Transport services are planned to operate around the clock every day, primarily within the county and nearby municipalities, with each ordered transport carried out within four hours. Funeral services would cover the period from the deceased person’s release from storage through burial.
