Preparation of the preliminary design for the Riihimäki–Tampere railway rehabilitation

Summary

The Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency is procuring a preliminary design for the major rehabilitation of the Riihimäki–Tampere railway section, covering chainages 72+875 to 186+573. The work includes railway superstructure and substructure, culverts, bridges, passenger stations, railway access points, electrification and power systems, a review of improvement and development needs, the Vaneri level crossing and other inventories, and work phasing and prioritisation.
