Supply of electricity for network losses

Summary

Vantaan Energia Sähköverkot Oy is procuring the physical supply of electricity for network losses, own use and balance deviations, together with price hedging for the electricity purchases. The estimated annual volume is 42–57 GWh for network losses and about 1.0 GWh for own-use electricity; no minimum purchase volumes are guaranteed. The contract is expected to run from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2030, with an option to extend for two years, and may also include the purchase of guarantees of origin as an option.
