Locking system renewal (16 properties)

Summary

The tender concerns the renewal of mechanical locking systems at 16 residential properties using the Abloy Easy system. The contractor must replace the cylinders while retaining the existing lock cases and fittings, include locks for waste shelters, yard buildings and mailboxes where currently installed, lubricate locking mechanisms and tighten screws, and carry out any necessary additional repairs as separately ordered. The work includes all labour and materials, updated locking and common-area layout plans, delivery of labelled keys and locking diagrams to the designated key management points, and renewal of shared telecommunications rooms with the KTL1E system, including installation of an external key cylinder or drilling for a key safe tube where necessary. The key quantities include three keys per key type, seven service keys, seven master keys and one service key for the KTL1E key safe; the key reserve must be kept as extensive as possible. Keys must be delivered to the key management point no later than 14 days before the agreed installation date. Site-specific start notices are to be prepared with the contracting authority at least three weeks before installation, while the contracting authority distributes them. All installations must be completed by the end of March 2027. The tender submission deadline is 20 October 2026.
