Request to participate: Vegetation management in Caruna's network area

Summary

Caruna Oy is seeking participation applications for vegetation management services in its electricity network area in Finland. The procurement is divided into eight geographical areas: Northern Finland, Western Finland, Satakunta, Northern Southwestern Finland, Southern Southwestern Finland, Western Uusimaa, Espoo and Central Uusimaa. A candidate may apply for one, several or all areas and must identify every area for which it wishes to qualify as a tenderer. A tender may be submitted only for areas in which the candidate has been accepted as a tenderer. The service description is based on draft documents and the procurement scope will be refined during the negotiated procedure. The contract term is three years, with three optional one-year extension periods. The transfer of service responsibility from the current suppliers is to take place no later than 1 March 2027. The participation application deadline is 13 October 2026.
