Short-Term Expert(s) – Telecommunications Cybersecurity and Resilience (Dominican Republic)
Summary
The procurement concerns the engagement of one or two short-term experts to support the National Cybersecurity Center of the Dominican Republic in assessing vulnerabilities and resilience in the country’s telecommunications environment, identifying priority risks and capability gaps, and developing practical recommendations. The assignment also includes capacity building and knowledge transfer so that local counterparts can conduct future assessments and manage related risks. Work will take place primarily on site in the Dominican Republic for a maximum of 120 person-days over approximately six months, with up to 30% delivered remotely. The assignment may additionally include up to 15 person-days of organisational backstopping support and is expected to start in January 2027. HAUS kehittämiskeskus Oy will conclude the contract, while the Dominican cybersecurity centre will act as the host and technical counterpart. The tender deadline is 21 October 2026.
