Food dryer for small-scale industrial use

Summary

The tender concerns the supply and installation-ready delivery of a food dryer suitable for drying fish, together with drying carts and grates, for the Mourusalmi fish harbour in Posio. The insulated dryer container must have a stainless-steel, food-approved and easy-to-clean interior, be approximately six metres long, use electric circulating-air drying, accommodate at least 500 kg of fish per batch and provide continuous moisture measurement. The air circulation must contact all product surfaces evenly. The carts must match the dryer capacity, fit through the harbour doors, have a maximum height of 190 cm including wheels and a maximum width of 90 cm, and include suitable grates and a removable drainage tray. The equipment will mainly be used for drying cyprinid fish, vendace and fish skins, including whole fish from approximately 6 cm and 1.5 g up to approximately 15 cm and 100 g. The dryer must be simple enough for local maintenance and repairs, include a two-year warranty from commissioning and at least a five-year spare-parts supply guarantee. The container may be used, but all other materials must be new; a used container must be accompanied by evidence that it has not received EU funding during at least the previous five years. Delivery is required no later than spring 2027. The supplier must provide technical descriptions and connection information with the tender, deliver dimensional drawings for the HVAC, electrical and plumbing connections, commission the equipment and provide operating and maintenance training on site. The buyer is responsible for the foundations, lifting and connection works, while the supplier is responsible for commissioning inspection and instruction. The tender deadline is 6 October 2026.
