Work and day activities for persons with disabilities – second opening of the social and healthcare procurement procedure

Summary

The tender concerns daytime activity services provided outside the home for people with disabilities, intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum conditions in Helsinki. The services support users’ everyday skills and the prerequisites for independent living. They include employment coaching, work activities and day activities and are primarily intended for people over 18; in exceptional cases, the target group may also include 16-year-olds who have completed basic education. The estimated number of service users at the start of the contract in 2027 is 682. For service providers selected in this opening, the contract period runs from 1 February 2027 to 31 January 2029, and the contracting authority may use two optional periods of up to one year each. The contracting authority does not guarantee any fixed order volume and will order services according to need. The submission deadline is 23 October 2026.
