Fibre-optic network construction works in Tammela – 2 projects

Summary

The tender covers fibre-optic network construction works in two Tammela areas: Ojajärventie, with approximately 9 km of trench length and 50 premises to be connected, and Liesjärvi 1, with approximately 6 km and 50 premises. The works include all construction and finishing activities required for the network, including excavation, cable and duct installation, distribution cabinets and manholes, surface restoration and documentation. Bidders may submit an offer for both projects or only one. All connections must be ready for commissioning by 31 August 2027 and all works must be completed by 15 October 2027. Surveying and fibre splicing may be offered as options; splicing requires competence in Commsopen closures. Offers are evaluated using price weighted at 70% and the contractor's rating weighted at 30%. The rating covers safety and customer experience, work quality, compliance with schedules, the number and handling of complaints, and competence and problem-solving ability.
