Request for information: blood and fluid warmers

This is a request for information, not a contract notice or call for tenders. Pohjois-Savon Wellbeing Services County is mapping the market for blood and fluid warming devices for adult and pediatric patients. The planned procurement would have two areas: devices for adult care and devices for pediatric care. The devices would be used in intensive care, operating and emergency units to warm blood, blood products and infusion fluids. Suppliers are invited to comment on the draft procurement materials and may attach product information; no tenders are requested, participation is unpaid, and the authority is not obliged to proceed with the procurement. The draft minimum requirements include Finnish-language instructions, Finnish maintenance and technical support, user training, free trial use, suitability for healthcare units, temperature control, reaching the target temperature within five minutes, safety alarms and overheating protection. The response deadline is 1 October 2026.
