Request for information: Suture materials, ligation and wound closure

Summary

This is a request for information, not a prior information notice, contract notice or invitation to tender. The contracting authority is mapping suppliers and product ranges while preparing a dynamic purchasing system for suture materials, ligation products and wound-closure supplies, including skin-closure products, haemostatic agents and tissue adhesives. Smaller quantities may also cover magnetic instrument mats, sharps containers, bone wax, wound-closure zippers, suture tapes, suture tension bands and pledgets. Suppliers may respond by 28 September 2026 at 10:13 UTC. Participation does not bind a supplier to take part in a later competition and is not a prerequisite for doing so. Responses are not compensated. Trade secrets must be clearly marked in the supplier portal and in any confidential attachments. The planned procurement may change or be cancelled.
