Sewer pipe jacking beneath the railway in the PMU-11 Iveco-Renfe/Farinera area

Summary

PUMSA is procuring, as one undivided lot, sewer works in the PMU-11 Iveco-Renfe/Farinera area: a 1,400 mm steel casing is to be installed by horizontal pipe jacking beneath the Barcelona R1 commuter railway to carry the sewer discharge. The works also include connections for the irrigation network on both sides of the tracks. PUMSA has already acquired 78 metres of the steel casing, and the contract is planned to last five months.
