Supply of fruit and vegetables to schools in the Canary Islands for 2026–2027

Summary

The Canary Islands’ school fruit and vegetable programme for the 2026–2027 school year will supply fresh bananas, papayas, oranges, melons, watermelons, apples and cherry tomatoes to 400 schools for 71,268 children aged 3–12. The contract is divided into seven island-based lots: El Hierro, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, La Gomera, La Palma, Lanzarote and Tenerife. Each child is to receive 14 portions, distributed over ten consecutive weeks in the first half of 2027; the total tender budget is €709,793.65.
