Special waste management service at Arteixo’s civic amenity site

Summary

The Municipality of Arteixo is procuring a single, integrated service to collect, load, transport and manage non-routine municipal waste delivered to its civic amenity site, including hazardous and non-hazardous waste. The service includes providing and maintaining suitable segregated-storage containers, delivering waste to authorised facilities for recovery or treatment and, where necessary, disposal, as well as coordinating collections of electrical and electronic equipment, batteries and accumulators. The contract is for two years, with two possible one-year extensions.
