Actuarial valuation of EMACSA’s pension and annual water allowance commitments

Summary

EMACSA is procuring annual actuarial valuation services, as at 31 December, for its long-term commitments to a closed group of pensioners. Lot 1 covers the actuarial study of pension revaluation commitments, including a separate comparison of two scenarios; Lot 2 covers the annual water allowance for retired staff, valued using the current water-supply and sanitation tariffs for 25 cubic metres per month. The valuations are to establish the present value of future obligations and the corresponding accounting provisions.
