Framework Agreement for Medium-Stay Inpatient Palliative Care Services in the Community of Madrid

Summary

The Community of Madrid is procuring inpatient care in medium-stay palliative care units for patients with advanced illnesses and complex palliative needs. The framework agreement is divided into 20 lots of 10 beds each, providing a total of 200 beds and up to 73,000 inpatient stays per year. The service includes multidisciplinary medical, nursing, psychological, social and spiritual care, unit management and coordination with other health and social services.
