Supply of helium liquefaction and purification equipment and a leak detector

Summary

The University of Zaragoza is procuring equipment to renew the production core of its Cryogenic Liquids Service, which supplies ultra-pure liquid helium for research. Lot 1 covers two modular helium liquefiers (with internal tanks of at least 150 litres and 240 litres), a helium purification system and a compatible backup compressor; Lot 2 covers a portable helium leak detector with a transport trolley and sniffer probe. Delivery, installation, commissioning and staff training are included. The total estimated value is €699,304 excluding VAT: €673,694 for Lot 1 and €25,610 for Lot 2.
