Optoacoustic tomography system for molecular imaging

Summary

The Universitat Politècnica de València is procuring an optoacoustic tomography system for molecular imaging, divided into two lots: a multichannel ultrasound excitation, reception and processing system, and a tunable pulsed-laser excitation system. Together, the equipment will support 2D and 3D photoacoustic and ultrasound imaging for research, with an approximate maximum field of view of 40 × 50 mm in 2D and 25 × 25 × 50 mm in 3D, and imaging depths of up to 5 cm in phantoms.
