Civil liability insurance for the Customs Department’s drone fleet

Summary

Spain’s State Tax Administration Agency (AEAT) is procuring a one-year third-party civil liability insurance policy for its Customs Department’s fleet of 117 drones, covering personal injury and property damage arising from their operation. The policy is intended to run from 1 January to 31 December 2027, or for one year from the contract date if formalised later. It also provides specified additional war-risk and consequential-loss cover; the procurement is not divided into lots. Territorial cover includes mainland and island Spain, its jurisdictional waters, Europe and adjacent islands, and North Africa, with flights to Ukraine, Russia, Moldova and Belarus excluded.
