Communications system installation on BRIPAC Mula Falcata vehicles

Summary

The Spanish Ministry of Defence is procuring, as a single lot, engineering and modification work to install a communications system on two MM-1A Mk2 mechanical mules assigned to the BRIPAC. The work includes adapting and reusing existing equipment, fitting a rollover bar and radio-operator seat belt, installing an independent 24 V system with a 100 A alternator and space for two gel batteries, adding an antenna mount, and removing platform rollers and hydraulic equipment to make room for communications components. The contract also covers the required vehicle-documentation updates, spare-parts supply and related support. The works are to be completed by 30 November 2026; the budget is EUR 69,000 including VAT.
