Laser-plasma accelerator station for ultrafast electrons – Phase I: customised high-voltage pulse generator

Summary

The Centre for Pulsed Lasers (CLPU) is procuring the design, manufacture, supply, installation and validation of an integrated high-voltage pulsed-discharge system for generating plasma in gas-filled capillaries in a vacuum environment. The system includes monitoring and safety equipment and will be installed and commissioned at the CLPU laboratory in Villamayor, Salamanca. The single, indivisible contract also covers acceptance testing at the factory and on site, technical documentation, staff training and knowledge transfer, initial operational advice and after-sales technical support.
