Construction of the Vera–Palomares Green Boulevard

Summary

The Provincial Council of Almería is procuring works to transform the urban section of road AL-7107 in Vera Playa into a sustainable boulevard. The works include reorganising the road with one traffic lane in each direction, a continuous segregated cycle lane, raised smart pedestrian crossings, intelligent signage, low-energy LED lighting, street furniture, native planting and a sustainable urban drainage system. The contract has a budget of €4,400,000 and a 365-day completion period; it is not divided into lots.
