Summary

The Fundació Bosch i Gimpera is procuring professional advisory and management services for protecting, registering, maintaining and defending industrial and intellectual property arising from research at the University of Barcelona and related research-valorisation projects. The work includes patentability and prior-art studies, drafting and processing patent and other IP applications, responses to official actions, legal advice and representation, freedom-to-operate reports, and translations. Lot 1 covers pharmaceutical chemistry, biotechnology, diagnostics, medical devices, nutrition and health; Lot 2 covers electronics, software and telecommunications, mechanical, industrial, materials and chemical engineering, energy, nanotechnology, optics and photonics, environmental technology, instrumentation, robotics and food technology. The initial term is two years, with a maximum initial budget of €498,302.20 including VAT for both lots; the estimated contract value, including planned extensions and modifications, is €1,111,914 excluding VAT.
