Environmental liability insurance policy

Summary

ACUAMED is procuring a single environmental liability insurance policy covering environmental responsibilities arising from its activities and the work of its employed technical staff across its infrastructure and operations in Spain. The insured portfolio includes water supply, desalination, wastewater treatment and reuse, drainage, flood prevention and other water infrastructure in several Spanish regions; the procurement is not divided into lots. The initial cover runs from 10 February 2027 to 1 July 2028, with an optional 12-month extension, and provides a base indemnity limit of €20 million per claim and in aggregate, subject to a general €75,000 deductible.
