Restoration works in the Albacar d’Enmig moat at Santa Bárbara Castle

Summary

Alicante City Council is procuring restoration works in the Albacar d’Enmig moat at Santa Bárbara Castle. The works cover the main curtain wall, affected lower sections of the Santa Caterina and Coloma towers, the Poterna, its internal stairway and the bridge providing access across the moat. The contract also includes archaeological monitoring before and during construction, documentation of relevant findings and a final report, as well as repair of the sewer section affecting the wall. The works are to be completed within five months and are not divided into lots.
