Installation of rockfall and debris-flow barriers on the La Peña road using a helicopter

Summary

Tragsa is procuring the installation of rockfall and debris-flow barriers for works to upgrade and protect the La Peña road in the municipality of Frontera on El Hierro island. The work includes installing 165 m of 2,000 kJ dynamic barrier and 128 m² of debris-flow barrier, manually clearing 2,475 m² of unstable slope, constructing 25 post foundations, installing 200 m of bolts and 260 m of flexible anchors, applying galvanised paint, and transporting materials by helicopter for 1,200 minutes. The procurement is not divided into lots and has an estimated value of EUR 263,957.21 excluding taxes.
