Pilot rainwater harvesting project at the IMIDA building

Summary

The Murcia regional government is procuring construction works for a pilot system to collect, store, treat and reuse rainwater at the IMIDA building in La Alberca. The works include, among other things, installing a 5,000-litre underground tank, pumps, pipework, filtration, UV disinfection, dosing equipment, automation and controls, as well as testing the system and restoring affected areas. The system is intended for non-potable use, with physical separation between the drinking-water and rainwater networks. The works are to be completed within 4 months; the contract is not divided into lots.
