Micropile works for the rehabilitation of the Águila Palace stables in Ávila
Summary
The tender covers 195 in-situ micropiles for the foundations of the stable extension, lapidary and storage areas, and a dividing wall next to the Sofraga Hotel plot at the Águila Palace in Ávila. The work includes supplying the materials, drilling, installing tubular reinforcement, injecting cement grout, connecting the piles to the pile caps, providing all necessary auxiliary works, and recalculating the piles and resulting pile caps. The piles are designed to be 7 m long, with 88.9 mm diameter steel tubes having an 8 mm wall thickness, 150 mm boreholes and sulfate-resistant cement grout with a compressive strength of at least 30 MPa; they must be embedded 1 m into the rock. The unit price is €686 and the estimated total is €133,770 excluding VAT (€161,861.70 including 21% VAT). The contract is not divided into lots, and price is the sole award criterion. The works must be completed within two months of contract signature; the contract term is 12 months and the defects-liability period is two years. The site is at C/ López Núñez 1, within the walls of Ávila. Bids must be submitted electronically by 14:00 on 28 October 2026. The bidder must have annual turnover of at least €150,000 and have carried out similar works under the same CPV code worth at least €100,000, in each case based on the best year in 2023–2025. These requirements may be replaced by contractor classification Group K, Subgroup 2, Category 1 or higher. Registration in the public register of bidders is required, or evidence of an application submitted by the deadline. The bid must cover the entire scope and every unit price; partial bids and variants are not permitted, and a zero-price bid will be rejected.
