Final optical fibre installation and related works in Badajoz

Summary

The tender is for collaboration on the final installation of optical fibre for fencing and ancillary works on the Madrid–Extremadura–Portuguese border high-speed rail line in Badajoz, in the Novelda del Guadiana area of Badajoz municipality. The work includes installing 717 m of telecommunications duct and 700 m of fibre-optic duct, transferring 4,000 m of 64-fibre optical cable from its temporary position into the permanent ducts, and preparing and labelling cables, handling and sealing splice closures, and fusion-splicing fibres. Bidders must quote every unit price for the complete scope; partial bids, unit prices above the stated maximums, and bids with a total price of zero are not accepted. Price is the sole award criterion, worth up to 100 points. The submission deadline is 23 October 2026 at 10:00. Participation requires annual turnover of at least €71,000 in the best year of 2023–2025, similar works worth at least €62,000 in the best year of 2021–2025, and a Type F telecommunications installer registration.
